Maria Elena Bello

 Maria Elena Bello (born April 18th, 1967) is an American actress producer, writer, and actress. Permanent Midnight (1998), Payback (1999) Coyote Ugly(2000), The Cooler(2003) A History of Violence(2005), The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor2008, Prisoners 2013, Grown Ups 2010 and Lights Out (2016) are among her roles in films. Bello has appeared on television as Dr. Anna Del Amico (1997-1998), along with other starring parts such as Michelle McBride (2016 season), and Jacqueline Sloane (2017-2021) on NCIS. Bello was born on 18 April 1967 in Norristown Pennsylvania. She is the daughter of Kathy, a school nurse and teacher and Joe Bello, a contractor.Her father is Italian American, with roots in Montella, Italy, and her mother is Polish American.She grew up in a working-class, Catholic family and graduated from Archbishop John Carroll High School in Radnor, Pennsylvania. Her subject was in political sciences at Villanova University. Bello trained in acting in New York and continued to enhance her acting skills after graduation. Bello and Dan McDermott have a son, Jackson. Bello wrote in November 2013 about her identical-sex relationship, Clare Munn, and how it ended. She released a book titled Whatever...Love Is Loving: Examining the labels we assign to Ourselves (Dey Street Books - April 28 2015.).
